Polite Requests with ~ていただけますか
~ていただけますか (verb te-form + いただけますか) is one of the most useful polite request patterns in Japanese. It means 'could you please ~?' and is more respectful than ~てください. It is ideal at service counters, in business situations, or any time you want to ask without sounding demanding. Build it by taking the て-form of a verb and adding いただけますか.
